Conducting
evaluations of programmes, projects and policies and supporting
monitoring and evaluation
Verona Groverman has been
involved in a number of assignments on project and programme evaluation
and impact study as a team leader and team member. As a team leader
she designed frameworks for analysis, appropriate methodologies
and approaches together with the other team members. As a team member
she was mostly responsible for sociological/gender oriented inputs.
In her evaluation approach she aims at clear outcomes which lead
to realistic lines of thinking and acting for the future. She underlines
the learning aspect of evaluation for all the parties concerned,
including the evaluation team. Verona Groverman is a team player
and acknowledges the added value of multi-cultural teams.
During her long-term work in projects
and short-term assignments she designed participatory monitoring
and evaluation systems for management, staff and target group levels.
She emphasises a manageable and effective system which should be
the result of a joint effort with the users.
