Qualifications

  • Rural sociologist/anthropologist with an ecological background with ample experience in countries in Africa, Asia and Latin America as well as in the Netherlands.
  • Well-experienced in process facilitation, capacity building and assessment, planning, monitoring and evaluation in organisational settings (NGO, GO), at community level and in projects/ programmes.
  • Gender is both a cross-cutting issue in and specific focus of assignments. Strong profile in gender mainstreaming and enhancing leadership capacities.
  • Long- and short-term assignments involve food security, natural resources management, farmers’ organisation, income generation with micro financing, integrated water management,, HIV and AIDS, organisational and institutional development.
